myspace MySpace is a social-networking site that is very popular with teenagers and adults due to its user-friendly interface and easily modified pages. There are many “skins” or ways to decorate and change a MySpace page, and lots of third-party applications that allow you to play music or share videos on your page. You can visit public Myspace pages without being a registered Myspace user. Like Facebook, there are settings to make a page private and only viewable to recognized friends.

Boulder Coffee, in Rochester, NY had a Myspace page before there official website was up and running. The coffee shop was established by a local property owner who realized all his tenants had to leave the neighborhood to get a cup of coffee.  Now there are three Boulder locations in Rochester and they all serve as a community gathering place and informal meeting location for block clubs and other groups.
